Marie Ange Provost

MARIE A. PROVOST 1914 � 2008 CHICOPEE � Marie Ange (Chabot) Provost, 93, died on Tuesday, June 10 in a local nursing home. She was born in St. Michael, PQ, Canada, on July 7, 1914, the daughter of the late Charles and Jean Chabot. She attended local schools and was an eighty five year Chicopee resident. She was active in the ombudsman program at the Willimansett Nursing Home East doing volunteer work there for eighteen years. She was the wife of the late Gerald Provost who died in 2000. She is survived by her son, Peter, of Goshen, MA. She will be sadly missed by one granddaughter, Tina Marie Provost, and great grandson, John Bird, and many nieces and nephews. The funeral procession will form on Friday, June 13 at 8:45am from the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., in the Willimansett section of Chicopee followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10am at St. Anne Church, 30 College St., Chicopee. Burial will be in St. Rose de Lima Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Thursday, June 12 from 4 � 8pm.
