CHICOPEE- Luis Benigno Alvarez, 63, passed away on June 22, 2013 at Baystate Medical Center. Luis was a longtime area social worker and will be especially missed by his daughter, 3 brothers, 2 sisters and 3 grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, June 28, 2013 from 9-11AM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., followed by a funeral home service at 11AM. The burial will be in Fairview Cemetery all in Chicopee.
