1912 – 2008
HOLYOKE – Mrs. Lucille T. “Lulubell” (Ducharme) Phaneuf, 95, a lifelong Holyoke resident, entered eternal rest on Thursday, July 3rd in a local nursing home.  She was born in Holyoke on September 11, 1912, the daughter of he late Louis and Amelia (Vincent) Ducharme.  She attended local schools and retired in 1976 from the former Hebert Drug Store.  She was the wife of the late William A. Phaneuf who died on April 19, 2005.  She is survived by her three sons, William C. Phaneuf and his wife Jeanne of Somerset, MA, Jeffrey L. Phaneuf and his wife Gretchen of Southampton, MA, George P. Phaneuf and his wife Marilyn of St. Antoine, New Brunswick, Canada, and her daughter, Nancy L. Prince of Chicopee.  She will always be remembered by six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a niece.  She was predeceased by her grandson, Paul Phaneuf in 1998.  The funeral procession will form on Tuesday, July 8th at 9am at the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., in the Willimansett section of Chicopee, followed by a funeral home service at 10am.  Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery in South Hadley.   Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday, July 7 from 6 – 8pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Multiple Myeloma Foundation, P.O. Box 414238, Boston, MA 02241.
