Lorraine Nadeau

CHICOPEE- Lorry (Capistrant) Nadeau, 75, of Chicopee passed away after a brief illness on Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born in Holyoke on June 23, 1939 the daughter of the late George and Mary Jane (Premont) Capistrant and graduated from Precious Blood in 1957. She was an accounting major at Holyoke Community College and graduated in 1959 in the top of her class. Lorry was a tax preparer for over 40 years at H&R Block where she made many lifelong clients and friends. She was a faithful and active communicant of the former Nativity Church where she served on the parish council and was the director of the C.C.D. Program for over 10 years along with her husband Leon �Pete� Nadeau. Lorry enjoyed traveling to the beach, especially Cape Cod and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her beloved husband of over 52 years, Leon �Pete� Nadeau of Chicopee; her daughter, Suzanne Nadeau-Beever and her husband Randy of Hope Valley, RI; her son Mark Nadeau and his wife Lee of Kingston, RI; her four adored grandchildren, Sam, Camille and Fisher Nadeau as well as Jeannine Beever and she also leaves many dear friends, cherished cousins and loving extended family members. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 10 AM -12Noon at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, MA 01013 and conclude with a funeral home ceremony and service at 12 Noon.
