CHICOPEE- Lori (Pelton) Lapan, 58, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, April 20, 2019. Lori was a daughter of the late Wendall and Mildred (Tourgee) Pelton and was educated in the Springfield schools. She enjoyed gardening, houseplants, her cat Spaze, and spending time with her family. Lori loved taking adventures with her family to her favorite New England spots in New Hampshire, Maine, and Boston, especially beaches, amusement parks, and concerts. Lori will be missed by her children; Taralynn Mackin and Ray of Chicopee, and Louis Mackin of Chicopee, grandchildren, Dominic, Jaylee, Dante, her former husband, Wayne Lapan, and her friend, Edward Lawler. She also leaves several nieces, nephews, and many dear friends. Lori was predeceased by her sister, Donna Sinowski, her brother, Johnny Pelton, and a niece Becky. A celebration of Lori’s life will be held on Monday, April 29, 2019 at the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, MA from 4pm -6pm followed by a funeral home service at 6pm.
