Lisa Ann Oyola, loving mother, and grandmother, passed away unexpectedly at her friend’s home in Doniphan, MO, at the age of 58. She was born on September 3, 1964, in Holyoke, MA, and was raised and educated in Holyoke, before residing in Springfield. Lisa was a longtime Certified Nurse’s Assistant in the western mass area.
Lisa will be remembered for her fun and outgoing personality. She was hard working but also loved to laugh. She enjoyed many different foods and cultures and had a strong spiritual faith. Her beauty and her light always shined brightly.
She will be dearly missed by her loving children, Angela Deorsey, Kimberly Oyola and Hassan Mahdi; three grandsons, Avery, Wyatt, and Noah; two granddaughters, Harmony and Skylar; her siblings, Francis and Pasquale Oyola, and Edith Oyola, and nieces and nephews, Allisha, Justin, Corena and Christina. She also leaves her lifelong and best friend, Mary Rutkowski and dear friends Joanie Warren and Mary Runions.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, July 31, for calling hours for Lisa from 5 – 7PM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee. Her burial will be private at a later date.
