Linda Jean Derosambeau

August 23, 1946 — January 27, 2024

Linda Jean (Kribstock) DeRosambeau, beloved wife of 46 years of Arthur L. DeRosambeau, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield at the age of 77.
Linda was born on August 23, 1946, in Randolph, VT, a daughter of Orlo and Effie (Spencer) Kribstock.
She was raised and educated in Vermont, before residing in Holyoke and later becoming longtime resident of Chicopee, and the past 20 years in North Adams.
Linda was a former parishioner of the former Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Chicopee and a current parishioner of The Parish of St. John Paul II Church in Adams, MA.
She was a machine operator at several local factories and was most recently employed at Micro Tek – Cables in Chicopee.
Linda had many hobbies and interests that included swimming, fishing, games of any sort, bingo, and camping.
She was a devoted wife, passionate mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Her loving guidance will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Linda leaves her loving husband, Arthur of North Adams, and sons, Arthur J. DeRosambeau and his girlfriend, Allison Lapierre – Houle of West Springfield, and John DeRosambeau and his fiancée, Stephanie Linnehan of Chicopee, sister, Betty Pixley of South Stafford, VT, eight cherished grandchildren, Nathan, Dallas, John, Catherine, Emily, Caleb, Alex, and Tessa and one great grandchild, Pamela Shute, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her beloved daughter, Pamela Shute in 1994 and by five sisters.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, Feb. 1, for visitation for Linda, from 4 – 7 PM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee Street, Chicopee.
A funeral home service celebrating Linda’s life will be held on Friday, February 2, 2024, beginning at 10 AM, followed by committal prayers and burial at St. Rose de Lima Cemetery in Chicopee.
