Liette Marie Rolande Plasse of Chicopee, age 92, passed away peacefully at home on August 17th, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. She was born to her late parents Roland Letender and Irene (Rajotte) Letender in St. Germaine, Canada. Immigrated from Canada with her husband Leo P. Plasse where they built their life.

She is predeceased by her parents and husband. Liette is survived by her sisters Pierette Letender, Jeanne Letender, Solange Letender, brother Jules Letender, sister-in-law Marielle Letender, daughters Carol Pittsinger, Linda Rivera, Suzan Anderson, grandchildren Tara Korepta (Greg Korepta), Timothy Pittsinger, Christopher Pittsinger, Alexandria Rivera, Nicole Desroches (Joseph Desroches), and Daniel Anderson, great-grandchildren Hannah, Charlie, Isabel, Jakub, Christopher, Chase, Leo, Isla, and her great-great grandchild Kevin.

During her life, Liette was a woman of many talents dedicating her working life to the Dominican Nuns Monastery in West Springfield. She was always fixing things and tinkering, she enjoyed bringing life back to vintage treasures and relished spending hours tending to her flowers and rhubarb. She was selfless and expressed her love by caring for those who meant the most to her. Forever loved and deeply missed by all.

Visitation will be held at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee MA, on Monday, August 24th, 2026, 4 P.M.-7 P.M. On the morning of Tuesday, August 25th, 2026, family is invited for a final farewell at Brunelle Funeral Home from 9 A.M. - 10 A.M. Friends and family are invited to a Funeral Mass held in Liette's honor at 11 A.M at St. Rose De Lima Church located at 600 Grattan St, Chicopee MA. Immediately, followed by a committal service at St. Rose De Lima Cemetery at 15 Chapel St, Chicopee MA.
