Leszek Zabinski

CHICOPEE- Leszek Zabinski, 53, passed away on October 5, 2014 at Vibra Hospital in Springfield. Leszek was born on July 9, 1961 in Gydnia, Poland to the late Leon and Marta Zabinski. He worked at Leoni Wire Inc. in Chicopee for over 15 years as a supervisor. Leszek was devoted to his family, was a great husband and father and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a hard worker, carpenter and all around handy man, but could also enjoy laughter and jokes with everyone he knew. Leszek had a heart of gold and a kind hearted, soft spoken soul, and will be missed by many friends and family. He leaves his loving wife of over 12 years, Barbara Zabinski; a daughter Dorothy and her children Julia and Owen; and a niece Agnes and her children Justin and Jordan. Leszek also leaves a brother Zbigniew and his wife Guylaine and their children Maja and Radoslaw; two sons, Bartek and Marcin, a daughter, Asia, one grandchild and several sisters in Poland; and several cousins and extended family. Calling hours will be Friday, October 10 from 11AM-2PM and 5-7PM in the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St, Chicopee. Services will be Saturday October 11 beginning at 9:30AM at the funeral home, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11AM in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 56 St. Anthony St, Chicopee.
