CHICOPEE-Leo Fregeau, 90, a lifelong Chicopee resident passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at the Holyoke Soldiers Home. Leo served his country during WWII in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged in 1946. He was born in Chicopee on October 3, 1925 a son of the late Amedard and Aldea (Beaulac) Fregeau and educated in Chicopee Schools. After his service to the country in WWII, Leo began working for the City of Chicopee in the Forestry Department and retired after completing over 40 years of service. Leo was a member of the Elk�s Lodge # 1849, D.A.V., American Legion and was an avid bowler and card player. He is survived by his nephew, Robert Moreau and his family of Hampden; a niece, Carol Bourbeau of Springfield; a great niece and devoted caregiver, Donna Dube of Chicopee; a special cousin, Debbie Pise of Chicopee as well as his extended family members and his wife, Francine (Tomcyk) Fregeau of Chicopee. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, October 16, 2015 from 4-7PM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, MA 01013 with a funeral home ceremony at 6:30PM. The burial with military honors will be held on Monday, October 19, 2015 at 2PM in the chapel of the Massachusetts Veterans� Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam.
