Laszlo Engel, loving husband of Linda M. (Curtis) Engel, who he married on September 18, 1965, passed away on Sunday, August 7, at Bear Mountain in West Springfield, at the age of 84.
Laszlo was born in Budapest, Hungary on January 14, 1938, son of Laszlo and Maria (Huterer) Engel.
Raised and educated in Budapest, he immigrated to the United States in 1957.
Along with his wife Linda, he was a longtime resident of Springfield before moving to Chicopee 9 years ago.
Laszlo was employed as Bindery Operator for many years at General Offset Printing in Springfield, until fully retiring in 2000.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Linda of Chicopee and children, Cathleen Latour and her husband, Steve of Georgia, and Steven Engel of Agawam, 5 cherished grandchildren, Felicia, Brett, Alexis, Brendan, and LeeAnn, and two great grandchildren, Kathryn and Theodore.
