Kimberly A. Morrissette

On Tuesday, July 12, 2022, Kimberly Ann (Richards) Morrissette, loving wife, mother, and grandmother passed away at Baystate Medical Center after a battle with brain cancer. Her loving family was at her side. She was fifty-two years of age. Kimberly was born on February 7, 1970 in Holyoke, MA, daughter of Bruce P. and Susan (Descoteaux) Richards. She was raised and educated in Holyoke, went to Holyoke Catholic High School, and received her associates degree from Holyoke Community College. She was employed as an Administrative Assistant for several years, where she overlooked commercial and residential properties. Kimberly was viewed by her family as a wonderful woman and a soul mate to her husband, Glenn. She loved the outdoors, whether it was at the beach, quiet nights by the fire, or viewing lighthouses. Kimberly also enjoyed being in the company of her grandchildren. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Glenn R. Morrissette; children Mike Roy, Zackary and Tyler Pecia, and Jessica, Julia, and Jenna Morrissette; cherished grandchildren Nicole Pecia, Sopheya Roy, and Aspen Pecia; father, Bruce P. Richards; and grandmother, Rita Brisson. Kimberly was predeceased by her mother, Susan. A celebration of Kimberly’s life will be held at a later date. There are no calling hours.
