Keith Martin Funk, 56, passed away Saturday January 21st, 2023, at Hartford Hospital after complications he sustained from a motorcycle accident that occurred in May of 2022. Born in Lowell, MA on June 29, 1966, to Patricia E. (Pete) Funk and the late Frank Funk, he was raised and educated in Chicopee and was a graduate of Chicopee High School. Keith was employed as a driver for various towing companies throughout the years and was currently employed at Red’s Towing in West Springfield. He especially loved the long hauls. Prior to becoming a driver, he enjoyed his side business of floor sanding. Keith’s interests included going to rock concerts, 90’s club music, Nascar, going to car shows displaying his Corvette and classic Camaro, and most recently riding his Harley Davidson “FatBoy”. He is survived by his beloved mother, Patricia Funk and daughter, Alaina L. Pine and her Son, Liam all of Chicopee, his siblings, Kimberly Norris and her husband Stafford of Springfield, Kelly M. Funk and Kenneth M. Funk both of Chicopee, as well as several, aunts, uncles and numerous nieces, nephews and many close friends. Family and friends are invited to meet for visitation on Wednesday February 1st from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee. Keith’s funeral will be held on Thursday February 2nd starting at 9:30 AM at the funeral home, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Rose de Lima Church, Grattan St., Chicopee. Burial will be held in St. Rose de Lima Cemetery, Olsen St., Chicopee. Memorial donations may be made in Keith’s memory to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704
