Katherine R. Duquette

CHICOPEE- Katherine (Brennan) Duquette, 67, of Chicopee passed away peacefully with her family her side on Thanksgiving evening at her home. She was born in Chicopee, Dec. 20, 1945 the daughter of the late Benjamin and Rita (Couture) Brennan. She was educated locally and was a graduate of Holyoke Community College where she studied criminal law. Her career was in management for the former Transcript Telegram and later with her beloved husband at Flagship Motor Court, Hampton Beach. Kathie enjoyed spending time with family and friends and had a love for life. She liked circle-a-word books, shopping and even more shopping. She leaves her loving husband of 49 years, Raymond Duquette of Chicopee. She will also be missed dearly by her daughter, Lana Toczek of Chicopee; her son Raymond Duquette, Jr and his wife Tammy of Chicopee; her four cherished grandchildren, Mathieu and Jesse Toczek and Ray Jr. and Kattie Duquette.

A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013 at 11AM in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 56 St. Anthony St., Chicopee, MA 01013. The burial will be private at Notre Dame Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to join at the Collegian Court, 89 Park St., Chicopee following the mass for continued celebration of Kathie’s life.
