CHICOPEE- Kathy Dowling, 69, a Willimansett resident and longtime communicant of St. Anthony�s of Padua Church died on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at her home after a brief illness. She was born in Holyoke on February 7, 1947 a daughter of the late Leo and Mildred (Wegiel) Dowling and educated in Holyoke Schools. She worked for several years at J. Polep Distributers in Chicopee and enjoyed spending time with her family, most especially her nieces and nephews who gave her great joy. Kathy will be missed dearly by her sisters, Barbara Gavron and her husband Hank of Chicopee; Peggy Charette and her husband Richard of Chicopee; her brother Leo Dowling and his wife Tonya of FL. She also leaves many nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends. Visiting hours will be private at Brunelle Funeral Home. All are invited to attend the Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11AM on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 56 St. Anthony St., Chicopee, MA 01013.
