Judith Sapouckey1957-2015SPRINGFIELD- Judith (Berthold) Sapouckey, 57, passed away suddenly on April 2, 2015 at Baystate Medical Center. Judith was born on June 26, 1957 to the late William and Margret (Herman) Berthold in Bridgeport, CT. She graduated from STCC with an Associate�s degree and worked as an OBGYN Nurse�s Aide in Springfield. Judith enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was called �Mom� by extended family and friends, a name that described her warm heart and willingness to give to others. Judith was predeceased by her son, Gregg Sapouckey in 2002; and her beloved dog Sonny. She is survived by her son, Michael Berthold and his wife Angie of Seymour, CT; her daughter Jessica Sapouckey of Indian Orchard; seven grandchildren, Gregg, Aleesha, Kearston, Cody, Noah, Haylee, and Cheyanne; two brothers, William and Gery Berthold; one sister Margret Berthold; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Calling hours will be on Monday, April 6, 2015 from 4-7PM in the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St, Chicopee, MA. Services will be Tuesday, April 7, 2015 beginning at 9AM in the funeral home, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10AM in St. Anne Church, 30 College St, Chicopee. Burial will be private and at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to MADD, 25 B Street, Unit B, Burlington, MA 01803.
