Joyce M. (Champagne) Stefanik, 80, of Chicopee passed away peacefully on Friday, July 3, 2020 at her home. She was born on March 14, 1940 in Chicopee and was a daughter of Armand and Rose (Robidoux) Champagne. Joyce was a devoted Catholic and dedicated to her family. Her grandsons brought her much joy and so many smiles and laughs. She enjoyed hours of playing games with her family. She appreciated time with friends and doing crafts. Her smiles and greetings warmed the hearts of total strangers. Joyce will be greatly missed by the family and friends she leaves behind, but her memory will live on through all the Joyce-isms she’s shared with everyone she met. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her son, Kevin E. Stefanik, her husband, Eugene J. Stefanik, and a sister, Pearl Champagne. Joyce will be forever loved by; her son Craig, his wife Karen, and her grandsons Jacob and Owen; her daughter Karen and her husband Tim and her sister Rita. Family and friends may attend her liturgy of Christian burial on Thursday, July 9th at 11am at the St. Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan Street, Chicopee, followed by a burial in the St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Montgomery St., Chicopee, MA. There are no calling hours.
