Jose Luis Oliveras1968-2016Springfield-Jose Luis Oliveras, 48, passed away unexpectedly on Dec.4, 2016 at his home. He was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico on July 16, 1968. He was educated in Holyoke Schools and a US Army Reserves Veteran. Jose loved fixing and maintaining cars, cooking, fishing, and spending time his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by his loving parents, Jose and Iraida Oliveras of Holyoke, his beloved wife of 10 years, Ileana M. Cruz, of Springfield; and his 11 Children, several grandchildren, a sister, brothers, nieces, nephews, dear friends, and his dog Maple. Life Celebration hours will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 4-7PM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee Street, Chicopee, MA 01013, and conclude with a funeral home service at 630PM.
