JOSE ALBERTO LLANOS 1958-2012 SPRINGFIELD- Jose A. Llanos, 53, passed away January 25, 2012 peacefully at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester after a short illness. He was born April 9, 1958 in Puerto Rico to the late Julian Llanos and Juana (Nunez). Jose grew up Rio Piedra, Puerto Rico, later on in life he moved to Bronx, New York, and then he relocated to MA where he lived for the past 8 years. He was an avid and dedicated wood shaper employed by The Artistic Co. Jose is survived by his loving mother, Juana Nunez of Bronx, NY; his son Julio Llanos of Providence, RI; his two daughters; Joann Llanos of Chicopee; Katherine Llanos of Bronx, NY; his brother; Felipe Padilla of NY; his four sisters; Carmen Llanos of Springfield; Luz Diaz of CT; Maria Padilla of NY; Adelina Padilla of NY; and his adored granddaughter Izabell Alicea of Holyoke. He also leaves his extended family and an abundance of friends to cherish his memory. Jose was predeceased by the mother of his three children and love of his life, Isabel Toro and his brother Jose Nelson Padilla. All services will announced at a later date.
