John Henry Trowsdale, loving father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Holyoke Health Care Center at the age of 70. John was born on February 2, 1952, in Milford, MA, a son of Henry and Catherine (Clement) Trowsdale. He was raised and educated in Chicopee and was a graduate of Chicopee Comprehensive High School. John was a longtime employee and currently employed at Valley Plating in Springfield. He loved music, especially music from the 60’s and 70’s and was an avid sports fan, who was a strong supporter of the Patriots and Red Sox. John leaves behind his loving sons, Joshua Trowsdale and his wife, Jenn of Hooksett, NH and Jeremy Trowsdale and his wife, Jamie of Vineland, NJ, sisters, Kathleen Brunelle and her husband, Robert of West Springfield and Mary Tanguay and her husband, Richard of Chicopee, four cherished grandchildren, Emma, Evelyn, Riley, Lindsay, and Taylor, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his brother, Mark in 2021. Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, March 25, at 12 noon, for John’s committal service and burial at St. Rose De Lima Cemetery in Chicopee. There are no calling hours.
