Joann Burelle

CHICOPEE-JoAnn (Beattie) Burelle, 60, passed away on Monday, March 5, 2012 at her residence. JoAnn was born in Holyoke, MA on November 15, 1951 a daughter of the late Donald and May (Fournier) Beattie. She was educated in Chicopee School. For several years JoAnn worked as dedicated Computer Analyst at National Waste in CT. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother; her life was centered on her family and enjoyed the quality time they spent together. JoAnn was a generous woman whose countless selfless acts will always be cherished and remembered. Her warm and caring ways are an example to all she leaves behind. She will be missed by her loving husband of 43 years Wayne Burelle; her three daughters; Leah Laflamme and her husband Patrick Laflamme of Chicopee; Connie Agin and her husband Bryon Agin Sr. of Chicopee; Laura Duprey and her husband Matthew Duprey of South Hadley; her sister Rena Benoit of OK; her seven adored grandchildren; Melinda Agin; Amanda Laflamme; Bryon Agin Jr.; Christopher Duprey; Benjamin Duprey; Rebekah Agin; Noah Agin; as well as many dear friends and extended family members. Visiting hours for JoAnn will be held on Friday, March 9, 2012 from 4-7 PM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, MA 01013. A funeral home ceremony will be held on Friday evening at 6:30 PM at Brunelle’s. Memorial donations in JoAnn’s name can be made to Hospice Life Care, 113 Hampden St., Holyoke, MA 01040.
