Jeffrey C. Columbo

March 27, 1969 — June 20, 2015

Jeffrey was a strong and passionate man who loved to be love and to give love in return. Jeff was also known for his cowboy boots and cocky attitude, one of the main things that made me fall in love with him in the first place. Jeffs' other loves were first and foremost his children. He had 5 beautiful daughters. Jeff also loved trains and his baby BZERK the Chevelle that he had since he was 16.Jeff was diagnosed with cancer unfortunately in January 2014 and immediately put up a fight that blew the doctors away even up until the end. Jeff had a strength and determination in him that matched no other.Jeff is survived by his lovely children... Kelly Columbo the eldest, then the twins Jaycie and Krystal Columbo, Hope Columbo who Jeff fondly referred to as Hopie and of course daddys little girl Heather Columbo. These children were the love of his life and Jeff fought long and hard to prove his love for them.Jeff comes from a large family full of love. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters. Joe Columbo Jr, Elizabeth Chamberland her husband Al who was a dear friend to Jeffrey, also Cynthia Columbo and Patricia Delaurier and also Sister Helen Marie Columbo. Not to mention Jeff also had two half-siblings, Jesse Columbo and Juliana Columbo.Jeffrey's mother Helen Clark Columbo passed away herself from a terrible battle also with cancer; she was a beautiful woman and wanted with all her heart to keep the family tied together.Jeffrey leaves behind his amazing father Joseph Columbo Sr and his loving and gentle step-mother Judith Columbo. They had a huge impact on Jeff's life and they both meant the world to Jeffrey.Jeff was constantly trying to be the best person he could be despite odds being pointed against him for a long time. While Jeff was a stubborn, cocky and strong minded person he had a soul of gold.Jeff also leaves behind his best friend and love of his life his wife, Heidi Lynne Malfino-Columbo. They met three years back and all it took was one glance at those cowboy boots of his and he stole Heidi's heart. Immediately they had a connection and attraction to each other that sealed the deal for the rest of their lives. Heidi was able to leave work to stay home with Jeff every single day of her life right up until the end.Even when the worst was told to Jeffrey he did not waiver in his faith and his belief in what the bible foretells. He also never skipped a beat in worrying about others instead of himself.... constantly expressing his fears for what will happen to his wife and children after he passed.Jeffrey touched so many lives with his infectious love of life. Jeffrey loved his work as a Foreman Carpenter in a local union where he was able to develop a very strong bond with his brother Joe Jr.All Jeffrey wanted was to be loved and accepted... and that he was, by many many people. There will be a space in our hearts that will never be filled again after his battle with cancer overcame him and he fell asleep in death.Much love and respect goes with my husband.... Forever and ever babe. You took my whole heart and I never got it back so its still with you until we meet again.
