Jeanet Marie (Gosselin) Guyott

1941-2026

Jeanet Marie (Gosselin) Guyott, 85, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at her home in Marlborough, CT with her loving family at her side.

Jeanet was born in Holyoke, MA, on April 22, 1941, daughter of Harvey and Rita (Sancoucy) Gosselin.

Over the years, Jeanet worked in many factories, was a caretaker at the Holyoke Soldiers’ Home and a Machine Operator at Westover Air Force Base. She had many hobbies, including puzzles, playing bingo on her tablet and knitting blankets and Diamond Painting.

She is survived by her children, Sandra Simms and her husband Carlile of Marlborough, CT, and Robert Reed of South Dakota and daughters-in-law, Brenda Reed and Nancy MacBrown; grandchildren, Jonathan Michael Simms, Robert Reed, Jr., Stephanie Marie, Shane MacBrown, Justin MacBrown, Adam MacBrown, Felicia, Natasha, and Vanessa Reed and Christoper Reed.

She was predeceased by her sons, Kenneth Reed and Wayne MacBrown, sisters, Irene Doullard and Claire Racicot.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday April 28th from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, MA followed by a funeral home service at 6:00 PM.
