Jean Guy Ouimette Sr

Jean Guy Ouimette Sr, 82, was called home on Thursday, May 19, 2022. He was born in Dixville Quebec Canada on June 6, 1939, to Rosalphie and Antonia (Laberge) Ouimette. He is survived by his grandchildren, Gary, Tina, Ashley, Lynette, Jason, Amanda, Johnny, Jillian and Paul, and great grandchildren, Sarah, Chad, Melia, Aubree, Autumn, Jersey, Alexandrea, Samantha, and Sophia. He leaves his sister, Huguette, whom he enjoyed going out to eat and spending time with. Jean leaves sisters, Gilberte, Pierrette, Rachel, and Diane, and brothers Roland, Robert, and Andre. He also leaves behind nieces and nephews, and two stepdaughters, Kathy and Linda. He will be welcomed home by his parents, his loving wife, Jeanette (Crochiere), his two sons, William and Jean Guy Jr, four sisters, Gabrielle, Gisele, Martha, and Fernande and by four brothers, Conrad, Jean-Louis, Bruno, and Claude. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Jean’s life Wednesday, May 25th from 9 to 11 a.m. at Brunelle Funeral Home 811 Chicopee St Chicopee, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 12 noon at Holy Name Church, 104 Springfield St, Chicopee. Burial will be held at Precious Blood Cemetery in South Hadley. Memorial donations may be made in Jean’s memory to the Dakin Humane Society, 171 Union St., Springfield MA 01105.
