CHICOPEE- Jean-Claude A. Trudel, 71, entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 10, 2010 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 2, 1939, a son of the late Rolland and Lucie (Beaucage) Trudel. Jean-Claude was President and Owner of Distinctive Marketing for 32 years in Chicopee, and had worked previously for 25 years at Inter-All Corp in Granby. He was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Chicopee. Jean-Claude was a member of the Chicopee Rotary Club, and was a Paul Harris Fellow recipient. He was also a member of the Galaxy Club at Westover Air Reserve Base. Jean-Claude is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 51 years, Marie-Marthe F. (Fugere) Trudel; four children, Elaine Labbe and her husband Scott of Chicopee, Janet Parent and her husband Vaughn of Riverton, CT, Ann Letendre and her husband Ronald of Chicopee, and Steven Trudel and his partner Keith Ruhe of Quaker Hill, CT; 10 grandchildren, Lynn, Melissa, Nicole, Lisa, Jeffry, Lori, Weston, Scott, Steven, and Brittany; five great-grandchildren, Logan, Hannah, Victoria, Carolyn, and Charlie; a sister-in-law, Monique Guertin Trudel of Longueil, Canada; many nieces and nephews, close relatives and friends. Besides his parents, Jean-Claude was predeceased by a brother, Andre Trudel. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 14th beginning at 10 a.m. from the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., with a Liturgy of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony of Padua Church, 56 St. Anthony St., with Rites of Committal to follow in St. Rose de Lima Cemetery, Olsen St., all in Chicopee. Jean-Claude’s family will receive relatives and friends at the visiting hours on Monday, December 13th from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
