James Anthony Kane

JAMES A. KANE 1936-2018 CHICOPEE- James A. Kane, 81, of Chicopee, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, January 8, 2018. He was born in Holyoke on August 11, 1936, a son of the late Gerard and Elise (DiCarlo) Kane. He graduated from Chicopee High School in 1955 and joined the Coast Guard. He married Kathleen (Ferguson) Kane in 1963. They lived in Southern California where he started his own business, Associated Designers. He was a talented painter, using oil paints to create a wide variety of landscapes throughout his life. With his family in mind, James eventually moved back to Chicopee with his loving wife who survives him. James will be greatly missed by his entire family, including his children: Nancy Garbarini, Colleen Kane, Steven Kane and his wife Ania; his granddaughter Gabriel Garbarini; his siblings: Edward Kane and his wife Irene, and Patricia LeBeau.
