Hubert P. Paxton

Hubert P. Paxton SPRINGFIELD � Hubert P. Paxton, 82, died Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born Zanesville, OH on June 20, 1928 to the late Hobart and Bessie (Knapper) Paxton. Mr. Paxton attended schools in Ohio. He lived most of his life in the Chicopee and Holyoke area. He was co-owner of the former Mohawk Trader in Holyoke. Hubert will be sadly missed by his son, David Paxton and his companion Nancy of Chicopee; his four daughters, Nola J. Paxton of NV, Debbie P. Thomas of Middlefield, Paula L. _________ and her husband D.J. of NV and Tammie Dewey and her companion Randy of TN; his nine grandchildren; his nineteen great grandchildren; his former wife, Roberta L. (Lyons) and several nieces, nephews and many extended family members. Beside his parents, Hubert was also predeceased by his daughter, Laura M. Paxton in 1985; his three brothers, Leonard, Norman and Phillip and his three sisters, Bessie, Ruth and Thelma. All services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
