Harvey G. Lanoue

CHICOPEE- Harvey Lanoue, 95, a longtime resident of Prospect St. passed away at Willamansett Center East on Saturday Jan. 11, 2014. He was born in Holyoke a son of the late Ambrose and Mary (Fontaine) Lanoue and educated in local schools. He was a longtime machinist at Mt. Tom Box Co and retired after 20 years of service. He also served for several years with the Civilian Conservation Corps in the area and loved being in the outdoors. He was an avid landscaper and was always changing his environmental surroundings. He now joins his beloved wife, Marie M. (Choquette) Lanoue who died in 1979, his son and daughter, Donald and Claire Lanoue and his eight siblings who welcome him home. Harvey is survived by two daughters, Eileen Rousseau and her husband Roger of W. Spfld and Doris Demanche of Chicopee. A private family funeral service will be held in St. Rose de Lima Cemetery.
