GLORIA (LEVEREAULT) GOLEMO
1938-2019
CHICOPEE- Gloria “Glo” (Leverault) Golemo, 80, a longtime Chicopee resident, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2019. Gloria was born in Holyoke on December 9, 1938, the daughter of the late Lucien and Lillian (Langua) Leverault. Gloria attended Chicopee schools and was a 1956 graduate of Chicopee High School. Gloria worked in manufacturing for many years and retired from the Environmental Services Department of Baystate Medical Center. She was an avid sports fan who loved the Patriots and the Red Sox. She also enjoyed horse racing and playing cards. Gloria’s thoughtfulness and humor will be remembered fondly by those she loved and cared for. She was predeceased by her husband Roman “Ray” Golemo and her sister Suzanne Ponton. She will be missed by her son, Michael Golemo and his significant other Jan Yardley of Chicopee and her daughter Patricia Kubik and granddaughter Jillian Kubik of Ludlow, and several dear friends. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2019 from 2-5 pm at the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St, Chicopee, and will include a funeral home prayer service at 4:30 pm.
