Chicopee – Ginette Lucienne Thibodeau, 76, passed away peacefully at home on Friday June 14, 2024. She was born April 27, 1948, in Longueuil, Quebec, Canada, to Fernand R. and Lillian Linthwaite (Charbonneau) Thibodeau.
Ginette always loved helping people and was a foster mother and care provider for many years. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and sports, especially baseball and football, as well as cooking, gardening and making her own tomato sauce from her homegrown tomatoes.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas H. Thibodeau, and her sister, Nicole Marsalais.
She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Thibodeau of North Adams, MA; her siblings, Francoise Ouellette and her husband, Peter of Chicopee, Rejean Marsolais and his wife Eileen of Easthampton and Theresa Landry of Ware, MA and by several nieces, including Brianna Peloquin of Chicopee.
