Ginette Houle

CHICOPEE- Ginette (Rousseau) Houle, 67, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2014 at Wingate Healthcare in So. Hadley after a lengthy illness. She was born in Drummondville, PDQ, Canada, came to Chicopee in 1954 and was educated locally. She worked in retail most of her life and most recently worked at Stop & Shop in Chicopee in the seafood department, retiring in 2004. She enjoyed playing cards, watching classic movies especially Elvis and spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Houle in 1997 and by a grandson, David Pinette, Jr in 2012. Ginette is survived by her son, Rob Houle, Jr of Feeding Hills; two daughters, Donna Reen of So. Dennis; Jennifer Parent of Chicopee; her brother, Alain Rousseau of Barnstable; four sisters, Nicole Chapdelaine of VT; Louise Peligi of Agawam; Joanne Barry of Warren and Cinda Parnegian of Westfield; five grandchildren, Danielle Pinette of Chicopee; Emily Houle and Ryan Cassagrande of Feeding Hills; Ashleigh Reen and Caitlyn Reen of So. Dennis. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014 from 8:15am-10:15am at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, MA 01013 and be followed by the Mass at 11AM in St. Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan St., Chicopee. The Rite of Committal and Burial will be in St. Rose de Lima Cemetery, Chicopee.
