Gertrude M Lamothe

HOLYOKE- Gertrude M. (Fileau) Lamothe, 100, entered into eternal rest and peace on Sunday, June 16, 2013 at Mont Marie Health Care Center. She was born in Holyoke on May 18, 1913 a daughter of the late Homer and Maria (Moineau) Fileau and graduated from Precious Blood High School. Gertrude was primarily a homemaker and devoted much of her time to her husband, George E. Lamothe who died January 27, 2003 as well as her family and her church. She is survived by her son, Leonard G. Lamothe and his wife Theresa of Chicopee; several nieces, nephews and cousins especially Connie Bauer and her husband John of Chicopee and Helen Morin and her husband Bob of Belchertown. A visiting hour will be held on Friday, June 21, 2013 from 9-10AM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee and followed by a funeral home service at 10AM. The Rite of Committal and Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, South Hadley.
