Geraldine Marie Fitzgerald

Geraldine M. Fitzgerald 1924 - 2017 Springfield - Geraldine Marie Fitzgerald, 93, was called safely home on Wednesday, November 22, 2017. She was born in Holyoke on June 8, 1924, the daughter of the late Beatrice M. (Terrien) and Edward James Fitzgerald. She was educated in the Chicopee public schools and was a 1941 graduate of Chicopee High School. Geraldine worked for 38 years as a bookkeeper for Daniel O�Connell�s Sons, Inc., and was the Treasurer for the local chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction. Geraldine was predeceased by her parents, and she leaves behind to honor her memory her brother, Edward J. Fitzgerald and his wife Joan, of Chicopee, her beloved nephews Michael E. Fitzgerald and Gary G. Fitzgerald and his wife Cheryl, her great-nephew Patrick M. Fitzgerald, and many cousins. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee Street, Chicopee, MA 01013, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 56 St. Anthony Street, Chicopee.
