Gerald J. "Jerry" Moise

Gerald “Jerry” J. Moise, longtime resident of Chicopee and beloved husband of 40 years of Patricia C. (Curry) Moise, who predeceased him on November 3, 2016, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, with his family at his side at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. He was 65 years old. Jerry was born on August 27, 1957, in Rochester, NY, the son of Gerald and Doris (Brown) Moise. He was raised and educated in Chicopee and was a graduate of Chicopee Comprehensive High School. Jerry was employed as a Maintenance Supervisor for over 20 years in the property management division of the O’Connell Corporation. He had many interests that included bowling, gardening, playing pool, muscle cars and entertaining his family and friends. He also took great pride in his lawn and backyard.
Jerry leaves behind his 4 loving children, Melissa Fields and her husband, Anthony, and Michelle Moise all of Chicopee, Margaret Toczko and her husband, Krzysztof of Monson, and Gerald Moise of Chicopee, his 8 cherished grandchildren, Emilyn, Liam, Morgan, Charlotte, Elizabeth, Daisy, Theodore, and Benjamin, sister, Debra Barron, niece Kathryn Moise, and lifelong friend, Raymond Ducharme all of Chicopee.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Tuesday, August 22, for a period of visitation from 10 – 11 a.m. at Brunelle funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon at St. Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan St., Chicopee.
