CHICOPEE- Gene Paul Malinowski, 61, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018 at his home in Chicopee. He was born in Springfield on January 22, 1957, a son of the late John Malinowski and Dorothy (Rattelle) Malinowski Gosselin. He retired from Calloway Golf where he had started at 18 years old under Aj Spaulding. Gene enjoyed golfing, walking, trips to Misquamicut Beach, and loved spending time with his family. Gene is survived by a daughter, Melanie Cote of Springfield; his brother Paul Malinoswski of Springfield, a sister, Doreen Lamontagne and her husband Donald of Springfield, nephews Jared Lamontagne of Springfield, Justin Lamontagne of East Longmeadow, a niece Ashley Lamontagne of Springfield, and 3 grandchildren Isaiah, Chevon, and Christian. A Graveside service will be held on March 22, 2018 at 10AM in St. Stanislaus Cemetery 800 Montgomery Street, Chicopee. Memorial donations in Gene’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital Attn: Memorials and Honor Program 501 St Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.
