CHICOPEE – Frank W. Newsome, 58, died Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at Kindred Specialty Hospital in Springfield. He was born in Holyoke on July 21, 1950 to the late Jedd and Jennie (Swincicki) Newsome. Frank attended schools in Chicopee and worked in construction for many years. Mr. Newsome will be sadly missed by his wife of thirty – three years, Patricia A. (Dolat) Newsome of Chicopee. His memory will also be cherished by his two sons, Christopher F. and Robert J. Newsome both of Chicopee; his daughter Shanele R. Newsome of Chicopee; his two brothers, Lance Newsome of Chicopee and Jeffrey Newsome of Easthampton; his two sisters, Joyce Koske and April Delaney both of Chicopee and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Saturday, March 21, 2009 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St, Chicopee. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Frank’s memory, to a charity of one’s choice.
