HOLYOKE – Fabienne L. “Fab” (Blais) Scribner, 48, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at the Holyoke Medical Center. She was born in Notre Dames des Bois, Canada on February 18, 1960 to Jeannette (Lambert) Blais of Holyoke and the late Claude Blais. Fab attended schools in Holyoke and was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Parish in Holyoke. She recently worked for Stavros and was a caretaker for her mother for a number of years. Along with her mother, Fab leaves to cherish her memory her lifelong companion, John E. McAuliffe of Holyoke; her three sons, Eric J. Hawkins of Easthampton, Robert C. Scribner and his companion, Maisune Gabara of Springfield and Joey S. Blais and his companion Adrianna Vazquez of Chicopee; her daughter Toni N. Scribner and her companion Vincent Quinones Sr. of Holyoke; her brother Sylvain Blais of Holyoke; her four sisters, Claudette E. Blais of Holyoke, Jocelyne M. Delaney of Springfield, Lise C. Provost of Holyoke and Diane Lavigne of N.Y.; her six loving grandchildren, Michael, Jourdan, Ariana, Genessis, Vincent Jr. and Damien. She was also predeceased by her brothers Paul and Gilles. Calling hours will be Saturday, November 15 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St, Chicopee. There will be a Service of Remembrance at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
