Eva Lawor

Chicopee- Eva (Peluzzi) Lawor, 89, passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Willimansett West Nursing Center. She was born in Chicopee, MA on June 25, 1923, one of eight daughters born to Domenic and Maria (Monaco) Peluzzi. Eva was a graduate of Chicopee High School and worked for many years at Steven�s Arms in Chicopee. She later retired from R.E.N. Electronics where she worked for several years in the wire assembly department. Eva was predeceased by her husband of over 50 years John A. Lawor in 1994. She is survived by her son, John D. Lawor and his wife Barbara of Wilbraham, MA; her adored granddaughter, Natalya Lawor of Springfield; two great grandchildren, Aidan Lawor and Layla Czapienski. Eva was a longtime communicant of St. Mary�s Church and enjoyed cooking and took great pride in her family. A visiting hour will be held on Thursday (TODAY) October 18, 2012 from 9AM-10 AM in Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, MA 01013. A funeral home service will be celebrated at 10 AM followed by the Rite of Committal and Burial in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, 800 Montgomery St., Chicopee.
