ERNEST W. HARRINGTON 1943 � 2008 CHICOPEE � Ernest W. �Homer� Harrington, 64, of the Aldenville section of Chicopee, passed away on Wednesday, July 30 at Baystate Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Springfield on August 24, 1943, a son of Ernest and Lena (Pesci) Harrington and attended local schools. He was an automobile mechanic at local shops for thirty five years. He leaves his beloved wife of thirty eight years, Dorothy (Nichols) Harrington, his four children, Ernest and his wife Michele of Chicopee, Stacy and her husband Ray St. Amand, Sharon and her husband Adam Kosnicki, and Daniel, all of Springfield. He also leaves two brothers, William and his wife Georgia of South Wellfleet, MA, and John and his wife Jennifer of West Springfield. He will be sadly missed by twelve grandchildren. Calling hours for Homer are on Sunday, August 3rd from 1 -3pm at the Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
