Chicopee – Elaine J. Manness, 77, passed away May 12, 2023 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. She was born in Holyoke, MA to Albert and Eleanor (Levereault) Brodeur and was a graduate of Chicopee Comprehensive High School. Elaine was employed as a hairdresser for many years. She is survived by her son, Alan Laverdiere and by her two brothers, Donald and Gerald Brodeur. Services will be announced at a later date. Please visit
