Elaine Kowalczyk

CHICOPEE- Elaine Kowalczyk, 96, a resident in the Willimansett section of Chicopee for over 90 years passed away on Friday, Sept., 5, 2014. She was born in Holyoke on June 10, 1918 a daughter of the late John and Louise (Dudek) Kowalczyk and graduated from Chicopee High School. She worked for many years at National Blank Book/Avery Dennison retiring in 1983 after 43 years of dedicated service with the company. She enjoyed vacationing, gardening, maintaining her yard which was adorned with beautiful flowers and loved music. She loved playing piano and enjoyed listening to Big Band music. Elaine is survived by several nieces, nephews, dear friends and some wonderful caregivers. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 from 9AM-10:30AM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee, MA 01013 and be followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11:30AM in St. Rose de Lima Church, 600 Grattan St., Chicopee.
