1970-2018
PITTSFIELD- Edward J. Atherton, 48, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 21, 2018. He was born in Bridgeton, Maine on May 5, 1970, a son of Barbara (Nelson) Atherton. Edward spent over 20 years as a manager for ProTech. He loved spending time at the ocean, watching the Red Sox and the Patriots, music, and playing hockey. He always had a smile on his face and would do anything for anyone. He will be missed by his daughter, Ciera Atherton of Holyoke; his beloved mother, Barbara (Nelson) Atherton; three sisters, and several nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 10AM-11AM with a Funeral Home Service at 11AM. The burial will be private.
