Edmund Francis Wolowicz Jr., longtime resident of Chicopee, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at his residence in Chicopee at the age of 87.
He was born on May 20, 1936, in Thompsonville, CT, a son of Edmund F. Sr. and Florence (Orcinoli) Wolowicz.
Edmund served his country in the United States Army.
He had several vocations throughout his career, he was most recently a maintenance man at the Belaire Apartments in West Springfield.
Edmund had several interests and hobbies that included, fishing, collecting old glass bottles, and painting.
He leaves behind his loving children, David Wolowicz and his wife, Jennifer of Monson, Daniel Wolowicz and his wife, Linda of Chicopee, and Richard Wolowicz of Conway, SC, 10 cherished grandchildren, Taylor, Kelsey, Jessica L., Jessica A., Kristen, Courtney, Emily, Richard Jr., Fallan, and Eric, and numerous great grandchildren, and by his sister, Beverly Wolowicz-Siano of West Springfield.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Joseph E. Wolowicz formerly of Hadley.
