West Springfield-Doris (Lanoue) Demanche, 70, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 30, 2020. She was born in Holyoke a daughter of the late Harvey and Marie (Choquette) Lanoue. She was educated in the Chicopee and Holyoke schools and later worked for many years at United paper box in Holyoke. Doris enjoyed spending time with her family and taking trips to the beach in her younger years. She will be missed by her sister, Eileen Rousseau and her husband Roger of West Springfield. Besides her parents she was also predeceased by her brother Donald Lanoue and a sister Claire Lanoue. The family would like to thank the staff at Bear Mountain formerly Wingate West Springfield for all of their compassionate care over the past few years and thank you to the Hospice of Western and Central MA for all of their care over the past few weeks. All services for Doris are private and her inurnment will be in the St. Rosé de Lima Cemetery in Chicopee at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Doris’s name to Parkinson’s Foundation New England Chapter 200 SE 1st Street Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.
