Doris T. Bruneault

Chicopee - Doris Theresa (Moreau) Bruneault, beloved wife of George A. Bruneault, Sr., who predeceased her in 2002, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at her home in Chicopee at the age of 94.
Doris was born on June 20, 1928, in Northampton, MA, a daughter of Romeo and Almina (Cote) Moreau, she was a lifelong resident of Chicopee and former parishioner of Nativity Church.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and a Die-Hard Red Sox fan.
Doris had an affinity for her grandchildren and lived by the philosophy of three-square meals a day.
Besides her beloved husband George, she was also predeceased by her daughter, Donna Leclair in 2021 and by her siblings, Eugene, Roger, Gerald, George, William, Donald, Lorraine and Rita.
She is survived by her daughter, Rene S. Duffy and her husband Michael of Apple Valley, MN and George A. Bruneault, Jr. and his wife Sue of Chicopee and by her dear grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
All are invited to meet for a graveside service on Monday July 18th at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Rose de Lima Cemetery, 49 Olsen St., Chicopee. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made in Doris’s memory to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St. Springfield, MA 01104.
