Donald E. Bourbeau

Donald Earl Bourbeau, beloved brother and uncle, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Baystate Medical Center at the age of 66.

Donald was born on October 11, 1959, in St. Louis, MO, a son of Thelma (St. Marie) Strycharz and Donald Bourbeau.

He was raised and educated in Springfield and was a graduate of Tech High School, before residing in East Longmeadow.

Donald was employed at various establishments and was most recently a maintenance worker at Burger King in Ludlow.

He was a huge sports fan and statistician, whose favorite teams included the Hartford Whalers, Carolina Hurricanes, and the New York Jets.

Donald’s other passions included fishing, reading, and a strong love for animals.

He was a great uncle, brother, and loyal friend to those who had the privilege to know him.

Donald leaves behind his loving siblings, Mark K. Bourbeau, Debra A. Geisler both of Springfield, and Valerie Frederick and her husband John of East Longmeadow, a cherished niece and nephews.

A private Mass and burial will be held for Donald. There are no calling hours.
