Diane (Laroche) Willemain

Diane Louise (Laroche) Willemain, longtime resident of Chicopee, passed away on Thursday, October 5, at Day Brook Village in Holyoke at the age of 71.
Diane was born on November 30, 1951, in Holyoke, a loving daughter of Richard G. and Doris L. (Lefebvre) Laroche, she was raised and educated in Holyoke and was a graduate of Holyoke High School.
She was employed for several years as a cafeteria worker for the Holyoke School Department.
Diane was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Chicopee.
She was a former member of the Red Hat Society and an active member of the Chicopee Senior Center.
Diane leaves behind her two loving sons, Jason G. and Jeffrey D. Willemain both of Holyoke, brother, Richard G. Laroche, of Florida, sister, Debra L. Laroche, and aunt, Pauline Gagne (husband Jerry) of Chicopee, uncle, Leon Lefebvre (wife Sunday) of Orange, MA, two nieces, Emily Cote (husband Matt) of Wynantskill, NY, and Sarah Laroche (boyfriend Darren) of Bolton, CT, one great niece, Claire Cote also of Wynantskill, NY, and many cousins.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, October 12, for a period of visitation from 5 – 7 PM at Brunelle Funeral Home, 811 Chicopee St., Chicopee.
Diane’s funeral will be held on Friday, Oct. 13, beginning at 8:30 AM at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 53 St. Anthony St., Chicopee. Committal prayers and burial will follow immediately after the Mass at St. Rose de Lima Cemetery in Chicopee.
