Denise S. Lavoie

Holyoke – Denise S. (Rougeau) Lavoie, 72, of Holyoke, passed away Sunday September 22, 2024 at Holyoke Medical Center, just five days after the passing of her husband.
Denise was born in Holyoke on August 27, 1952, a daughter of Napoleon and Rita (Fontaine) Rougeau. She was a graduate of Holyoke Catholic High School and employed as a Pharmacy Technician for many years, before her retirement.
Denise found great joy in gardening, loved all birds and most importantly the time she spent with her family.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Richard R. Lavoie, on September 17, 2024.
She is survived by her four children, Seanna Kindness and her husband, Christopher, John Ferriter, Joshua Jendrysik and Dustin Lavoie and his wife, Katie; sister, Debra Pflanz and her husband, Michael; grandchildren, Kasidy, Lil Chris, Josalyn and Taytem; great-grandchildren, Makenna and Millie; niece, Katie Haubner and her husband, Shawn; brother-in-law, Jerry Lavoie and his wife Laurie as well as several cousins.
