David B. Easton, 45, a lifelong resident of Granby, Mass., was abruptly summoned home by our Lord on Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010. A person of unique vision, David was widely associated and loved by many. David attended Granby schools and had ventured into the world of continuing education several times throughout his life, most recently in the field of the culinary arts, a craft he was very passionate about and excelled at.
A person of distinct originality, David always carried with him an infectious laugh and a genuine heartwarming smile. His recent decision to do some traveling has enabled him to share his gifts with people across the country, all the while keeping the knowledge that this was his home.
His interests included cooking, camping, bicycling, and above all, spending time with his children. A devoted father, David leaves his daughters Sarah and Hannah Easton, both of So. Hadley, his mother Joan Charette and father Ronald Easton, both of Granby, his brother and sister in law Robert & Lucy Easton of Monroe, North Carolina and his brother Ron Easton of Granby, his maternal grandmother Rita and his paternal grandmother Edna and several aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews that all share equally in his being missed.
A private service will be held at the funeral home for the immediate family, with no further calling hours scheduled. A graveside service will be held at a future date.
