Dariusz Piotr Mikrut

Dariusz Piotr Mikrut passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at Holyoke Medical Center in Holyoke at the age of 60.
Dariusz was born on August 12, 1964, in Rzeszow, Poland, a son of Roman Slota and Anna Mikrut.
He was raised and educated in Poland and served in the Polish Army, before immigrating to the United States in 1994.
Dariusz was a former self-employed painter while living in Chicopee.
He was a family man who enjoyed his time with his family especially his grandchildren.
While in Poland he played Soccer and continued his love of the game by watching all the professional teams worldwide.
Dariusz loved the outdoors and watching motorcycle racing in Poland called Zuzel.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 37 years, Krystyna (Szaro) Mikrut of Chicopee, son, Kamil Mikrut and his wife, Heather of Granby, MA, and daughter, Daria Mikrut and her husband, Ryan Evans of Poland, and three cherished grandchildren, Magdalena, Natasha, and Sabrina Mikrut.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, March 6, for a calling hour from 10-11 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 56 St. Anthony St., Chicopee, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in the Church. Burial will be held at a later date in Poland.
